What is Bridge 56?
Bridge 56 is a ministry here at Southland that was created just for our 5th and 6th graders. We realize that this is a very crucial age for our preteens because they are transitioning from being a child to being a teenager. Oftentimes the fifth and sixth graders feel misplaced in a youth group or children's ministry. We believe it is important to create a safe, fun, and engaging place for our fifth and sixth graders to bridge the gap between our children's ministry and our youth ministry. We want them to have their own individual identity where they can solidify their beliefs in Jesus and foster spiritual growth and leadership skills. We also want to walk alongside parents as they navigate this transitional stage.
