Join us for a weekend in Acuña!
We will travel to Casa Esperanza Children's Home in Acuña to do work projects, help staff, and play with the children. This trip is open to all ages, and there is no cost except for a few meals. You will need a passport to travel across the border.
We have multiple teams going up on different days. We will have two shifts leaving Friday (one at 1:00 pm and the other at 3:30 pm) and one leaving Saturday morning at 7:30 am. You are very welcome to drive your own car to go and return any time you like.
You do not need to know Spanish, so don't let that stop you from coming! Please email elias@southlandbaptist.org or janet@southlandbaptist.org if you have any questions about the trip.
What to bring:
- Passport (& ID for adults)
- work clothes
- church clothes
- pajamas
- toiletries
- $ for lunch/dinner on Friday & Sunday
- $ for shopping in the Mercado. (Recommend small bills like 1's and 5's)
* Bath towels and bed linens are provided, but you may bring your own if you prefer.
* Please DO NOT BRING expensive clothes, jewelry, or electronics.
