What is Stephen Ministry?
Southland is the only church in San Angelo that offers a Stephen Ministry program, and our Stephen Ministers are ready to help you!
Stephen Ministers are lay congregation members trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation.
Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life, but they all share a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need.
Who Can Benefit?
Stephen Ministry is all about providing emotional and spiritual care for people who are in crisis.
If you are struggling emotionally or spiritually, and you are looking for someone to hear you and be by your side, you can benefit from the support of a Stephen Minister.
How to Get Involved?
If you are hurting and looking for a Care Giver, contact Debbie Gideon or Pastor Chris Curran below or you can send an email request to stephen@southlandbaptist.org. Your request for a Stephen Ministry is completely private and will only be seen by the Referrals Coordinator.
